Here at Alpine Raingutter, we know that it is very important to keep to the 3 R's.

1. Reduce - We have machines that run off our material at exact measurements, which reduces waste. According to the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) study, an estimated 8,000 lbs of waste is created from the construction of a 2,000 square foot home.

2. Reuse - If something needs to be fixed and not replaced we will let you know, we will save you time and money!

3. Recycle - When we replace your gutter the materials that we tear down are recycled.

The Problem:

Ice dams can form dangerous icicles and cause water ingress into buildings. The ice dams from because melting snow and ice on a roof freeze when they reach the cold roof edge. The ice forms s a barrier and melted water accumulates behind this ice dam. Pooled water behind the dam my leak into the building, causing water damage, or climb over the ice-filled, butter, forming icicles.

The Solution:

Our roof and gutter de-icing systems offer a better way to prevent ice dams and icicles. With its self-regulating heating cable, the systems provide a continuous drain path for melting ice and snow. from the roof through the gutter and downspout. Versatile, reliable, energy- saving, and cost-effective, these systems are the effective answer for roof and gutter de-icing applications.

*Heat tape should not be used over the thermal insulation or near flammable materials.

*Check heat tapes at least once a year, paying particular attention to older tape which may develop cracks in the insulation.
